The new SyFy program The Helix starts Friday 1/10/14 at 10pm EST. Can anyone set a SP for this show? I like to be sure it's my Premieres causing the conflicts before I report it to TiVo. Both conflicts are bogus, but I'd like a second opinion. Thanks.

Problem with signal message apparently stuck :-).
I have my old premier setup for just OTA these days, and when I turned it on to a station that has just about the strongest signal I get, a blue box was floating over the screen saying something like "Problem with signal on this channel, retrying".
However, the picture behind the blue box was faultless, not the slightest glitch. The sound was also perfect. It just felt like keeping the blue message box on the screen for some reason.
Rebooted and the message finally disappeared. Now I just get a perfect picture. Never had that one happen before. I wonder if it is unique to OTA?

Multi-Room Streaming does not always work
All,
Was hoping for some help with multi room streaming. My issue is that it will work for a few days and then stop working. Here is what I see:
Stream from den Roamio to bedroom Roamio works flawlessly for spells (weeks on end) and then stops working entirely. I get the message that I can not start the stream. It doesn't start and then stop mid-viewing. I don't attempt to fix it. It seems to fix itself after a few weeks.
The multi room transfer in that direction is very fast. My guess is 3 times real time. Never an issue (hence why I haven't tried to troubleshoot yet). I would just use this option but I believe I can' transfer HBO etc? Now and again they have red crosses by them when I record on the Den DVR and view on teh Bedroom DVR.
Stream from bedroom Roamio to den Roamio seems to work 100% of the time. I don't use that route as often since the downstairs Roamio has most of the recordings (I got the Weaknees larger HD for the Den).
Not sure if this helps with troubleshooting but just in case:

The bedroom DVR used to get a lot of connection problems when wireless, even when the router was inches away. When I tried wired (testing in an undesirable location) and finally switched to MOCA it would get lots of connection errors until someone on the board recommended inputting a bad password. That worked for me. I see the occasional connection issue but I believe others do too at the same time.
Den always found the bedroom DVR in List, bedroom DVR always struggled to find the Den. This has improved dramatically. Actually I think it is totally fixed (I didn't change anything). The switch to wired helped but wasn't a total fix. Perhaps a software update fixed it? The Den "knew" I didn't have my old Tivo anymore (it wasn't on my account) yet the bedroom thought it existing for months even though it wasn't connected to my network (wasn't powered on either).
Highly unlikely to be related but just to vent. The remote response on the bedroom DVR sucks. Tried multiple remotes and all have the same issue. I suspect an alignment issue in the box?

Can't Modify SP Recording in TDL
Since the last update on my Premiere XL I've noticed a couple of times now that I cannot modify SP recordings in the TDL. I've got an NBA SP set to go 30 minutes long and there's a double-header, so I modify the first recording in the TDL to end on-time. Everything looks fine when it's done, but then some time later the original SP recording re-enters the TDL (!!!), and the modified recording seems to become a TDL entry with no program name--just time and channel--and if you select it, nothing happens (no details are shown). The no-name recording may even not be recorded due to conflicts, since the original SP recording is given priority, and that original SP recording may then block out the following program from recording due to conflicts. This has happened to me with basketball, and then last Thursday with the back-to-back episodes of Community (which I have set to go a minute long). The only workaround for this seems to be to just delete the SP recording and create a new one-time recording. Modifying the SP recording in the TDL always worked for me in the past, and it should work.

Wishlist Recording Not Working
Since the last update to my Premiere XL I've found that at least some of my Wishlist recordings aren't working. They show no shows upcoming despite there being several (and despite working properly in the past). Modifications to attempt to still get what I want don't work, and if I create a new duplicate Wishlist, it will show upcoming programs when I create it, but then when I go back to it after creation, it will show no upcoming programs. This is baffling.

Canceling DirecTV & watching shows on S1/S2 units
I just got a 6 tuner Roamio and will likely be cancelling DirecTV and taking my old DSR6000 and HDVR2 out of service this month. Is there anything I need to do before I cancel so that I can watch the shows on these boxes after I cancel my DirecTV sub (remove receiver sat inputs, access cards, etc before canceling)?

nba league pass problem recording the right broadcast
I have 2 tivo premieres xl on verizon fios the last 3 years its worked fine having a wishlist (boston celtics) then put it at #1 on my season pass,it would record every game and when available every game with the celtics announcers. But the last 3 games verizon had dual feeds but my tivo picked the games to record with the visiting teams announcers even though a couple of those games were home games! This all started after the new software update,I called tivo and they couldnt help me! Is there anything i need to change in my wishlist so it records the right broadcast? This a huge thing for me!! a big enough of a deal that i would give up verizon and my tivos and go back to directv!!:mad:

Error 126

I just bought a Tivo Premier and have gone through the guided setup today. It has downloaded today's schedule and is still working on the next 13 days of programs.
I can watch live TV on all the channels, but I don't want all the channels.
So, I went to Settings & Messages - Settings - Channels - and that's it. When I click on "channels", I get a "Please Wait" message. Then a few seconds later I get the Error 126 message: Your request could not be processed because the DVR was unable to load data. Please try again (which I did 3 times).
Could this be because it's still loading all the programming for the next two weeks and it just can't do both at once? I figured since all my channels are listed and working that I could go into "channels" and filter out what I don't watch. Apparently, not. :mad:

Out of Home Streaming issue Roamio/Fios
I have a Roamio Plus connected via coax to Fios Actiontec Router. In home streaming works perfectly. I cannot get out of home streaming to set up on an iPad Air or iPhone 5S.
When connected on my home network, OOH streaming setup completes with no issue, and the streaming state is "ready" in the full system information screen in the app. When I try to set up streaming outside of my home network, I get the attached error. (Interestingly, only the TSN and name show up in the system information screen. Everything else is "unknown.")
I turned off IGMP on my router, as recommended in some other threads, with no success.
Any ideas? My sense is that it is either a hardware issue with the Roamio or another router setting.

Tivo mini not changing channel
Hello all, new to the forum so my apologies if I've overlooked the proper thread. Did a search and browsed through the forum and didn't find what I was looking for.
I have suddenlink cable and I've had the Tivo premier in the living room and the mini in the bedroom now for 7-8 months.
All of sudden last night the mini will not change channels or go to live tv. It's stuck on the Hallmark channel. When I try to change the channel it acts normally as if it's going to change but stays on Hallmark and starts over from the point it originally started acting up.
The remote works fine, menus work fine, the guide displays and shows all info like it's supposed to. I've unplugged it several times to no avail. The premier in the living room works just fine and even did the guided set up on it just for good measure and still nothing.
Again my apologies if I've overlooked a thread and thanks for any help in advance.

Small time adjustment control
We need a small time adjustment ability in Tivo. With all of the encrypting/decrypting, digitizing, sending to and from satellites, and other manipulations that video now goes through, by the time my tivo gets the picture to me, it is NOT at the exact hour mark.
What I mean is that when I set my Tivo to record a program at 8 pm, for example, The Tivo WILL start recording at 8pm, but due to delivery delays in getting the signal from the broadcasters, the program content is actually about 5-7 seconds behind. This results in seeing the last 5 seconds of the previous show (not a big issue), BUT also MISSING the last 5 seconds of the show I'm recording (always the last little blurb).
I know about the record extension setting, but that is based on a minute increment, and that also screws up the next recording.
Can't we have a 'broadcast delay' setting, so that we can compensate for the delay?
This would not be very involved, and Tivo could brag about their unit actually recording the entire show! Please?

channel lineup on Roamio vs online - same?
If I view the channel lineup on Tivo's site for the same cable provider I've selected on my Tivo, am I seeing the full channel listing for that carrier online or just the channels in 'my channels' listing I've set up on my Tivo?
In other words, does one list have anything to do with the other or are they independent of each other?

Tivo HD freezes reboots
Hi I own 3 Tivo Hd units with lifetime. 2 of them I have upgraded to 1tb drives. Recently I have had an issue with one of the units rebooting and freezing all the time so I thought I was having the power supply problem. I swapped power supplies with a good unit and no change. So I went and replaced the drive with the original and it rebooted much less but now randomly freezes up and has to be unplugged and restarted. What causes the freeze up is that only hard drive or could I have a bad motherboard. I just cant see the original drive being a problem as it was fine before I upgraded to the 1tb drive.

Channel Logos in Guide
Coming from WMC, and using an application like My Channel Logos, it is very nice to have the channel logos present right next to the call letters in the guide. This makes it very easy to glance at the guide and see which channels you are looking at.
Is there any way to add this ability to the TiVo?

Selecting Input on TV with TiVo Remote
In order to change inputs on my Westinghouse TV I choose "input," scroll to the desired source, then select "enter."
My problem is that my standard TiVo remote does not seem to have an "enter" button for the TV. I can choose "input" and scroll to the different sources, but cannot select any of those inputs.
Any thoughts/advice?

Roamio Series 5 Menus on Mini?
I am late to this particular party, just added a mini to our whole home system.

Clueless on Tivo, Need info!
Hello, I'm new here and don't have the first clue about getting Tivo or subscribing to their service.
Or what fee Cable will charge me.
Currently Subscribe to Directv with HR34,Hr24,HR23,H25, D12 and whole home service. While I love the system, I don't love some of the rate increases, the sometimes slow response times by the receivers and the over all lack of Local channels that my Blue ridge cable offers.
Cable claim they will offer tivo in June, but untill then I want a feel for what I'm looking at .
I will never use the Cisco receivers again. :down:

Roamio Plus , maybe Pro, and 3 Minis
What would Cable charge me? Just one cable card Fee?
Or since its 6 tuners would it be 6 $0.50 outlet fees?
For my fifth receiver , it just needs a standard cable box.
My Question is, If I decided to Get 2 Roamios and 2 Minis
Would I be charged 2 cable card fees, and thats it?
Or 12 outlet fees?
Also can both Roamios interact into your whole home to access recording and play back from all rooms?
